Job Description: Window and Door Installer Grade 2 
  • Base Hourly Wage: $20.60. Full-time, W2 employment. 
  • Bonus: Weekly unit incentive bonus

  • Occasional overtime on weekdays and Saturdays • Occasional project assignments requiring out-of-state travel and overnight stays.
  • Works under the direction of a Grade 3 Installer on most jobs
  • Reports to the Director of Field Operations


Minimum Requirements, Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of one year’s experience working full-time as a window and door installer.
  • Must provide a current resume and professional references
  • Must present a valid driver's license
  • Must provide required ID to complete Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9), used to verify an employee’s identity and legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Expert skill in reading and using a standard tape measure measuring to 1/16”.
  • Skill in rough carpentry to modify rough openings as required.
  • Skill in finish carpentry to replace/install trims and casings on interior and exteriors.
  • Skill in laying out, breaking, and installing aluminum coil stock exterior capping.
  • Demonstrated excellent skill in caulking using silicone, acrylic, and other sealants and adhesives. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Work independently or as a team to install new and replacement windows and patio doors manufactured by the company into customer homes, apartment complexes, or businesses. 
  • Must adhere to Jantek installation processes and procedures, and Jantek quality and customer service standards.
  • Knowledge and adherence to established Jantek safety processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Load installer truck each morning ensuring that all products, materials, and tools required to complete the job are loaded.
  • Set up and break down materials, tools and equipment at the jobsite.
  • Remove existing windows.
  • Prepare existing window openings to accept replacement windows and patio doors.
  • Install replacement windows and/or patio doors.
  • Remove all materials, scrap, nails, etc. from the jobsite.
  • Perform a walk-through inspection with the customer to achieve customer approval.
  • Collect payment balance due upon completion of the job.
  • Responsible for the care of company-supplied equipment, vehicles, and tools.
  • Demonstrate the interpersonal skills to provide excellent communication with the customer and the company.
  • Present a professional appearance of themselves and the company vehicle.
